ANXIETY

After reading through the provided samples of "Questioning the Text" papers, I am feeling extremely nervous and anxious about my own paper that I had prepared for last weeks class. I put so much time, thought, and effort into it and am now afraid that it does not even come close to meeting the assignments requirements. I have no idea why I am venting my worries on this blog but sometimes they get so overwhelming that I feel like I just have to put them out there! I am hoping that everyone has taken the opportunity to read the examples Deb has posted because it will absolutely be of assistance to you when putting together your paper. Happy Writing!

I'm glad you wrote about this! Remember - the first batches of papers in a semester are the hardest to write. I can tell you put in a lot of time into your paper - thank you for your hard work on it! (does this help to relieve some of your anxiety?!)

  2. I can relate to your feelings 100%. I often compare my work to the work of others and feel like mine is inferior because it seems different or whatever. But you just have to relax and be confident in your work because 9 times out of 10 you did better than you thought. And I still have to write mine and I feel some anxiety about it so don't feel alone.

  3. Yes Deb that does help a lot! Hopefully I can format my paper more along the lines of the examples next time!

And Karen, thanks for the comment! I am so glad I am not the only one who gets uptight and anxious about assignments :) Good luck on your paper, you will do great!
